Day 1 - Ho
chi minh arrival (L;D)
Arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will meet
AnBinh Travel’s guide. transfer to city center, check in, relax. Dinner at
local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Ho
chi minh city – Cu chi Tunnel (B;L)
After breakfast at hotel you begin your trip to Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an
incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the
long struggle for independence. Afternoon you will discover dynamic city with
the Reunification Palace and some
French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After
seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda, you continue your trip on to Ben Thanh Market where anything and
everything is for sale. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho
Chi Minh city.
Day 3 - Ho
chi minh – Mekong delta - Caibe (B;L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Cai Be, you can stop for photos at
Tan An town over the flat rice fields. Arrive to Cai Be, start the motorized
boat ro visit the Cai Be floating market, see how river life goes on,
experience how people exchanging goods, fruit and many other commodities on
their vessels. Visitors then roam into the small villages to visit the orchard,
fruit plantation. Keep cruising to Vinh Long through small canals to
enjoy the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta. Visit some hand made family business
products such as the coconut candy mill, the crispy rice popcorn. Arrive in
Binh Hoa Phuoc village the green pearl of Vinh Long town where you can indulge
yourself into the nature . Have lunch with fresh river food served in the heart
of the garden. Take a nice walk through the bonsai garden. Meet the car/van in
Vinh Long. Back to Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 4 - Ho
chi minh – Dalat (B;L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Dalat via the National highway 20.
Enjoy the smooth drive with the beautiful landscape. Stop for photos at the La
Nga lake and the floating village. Visit the Dambri waterfall. Lunch at local
restaurant. Proceed to Dalat, The city is set around a lake and surrounded
forests, waterfalls and rolling countryside. Visit the tea and coffee
plantations in Lien Khuong. Free at leisure in the late afternoon. Overnight at
hotel in Dalat.
Day 5 -
Dalat – Nha trang (B)
Our sightseeing tour of Da Lat takes in the former
residence of Emperor Bao Dai, Hang Nga Crazy House, Tuyen Lam Lake, the Central
Market, the Love Valley and Lam Ty Ni Pagoda. The afternoon,
our guide and driver will take you out of Da Lat and back down the Prenn
Pass for a stop at the ’’Chicken village". From here we will head east and
down the Ngoan Muc pass to the coastal lowlands. Today our destination is Nha Trang. This part of the country
was once inhabited by an ancient civilization known as the Cham, and your next
stop will be at the Po Klong Garai Cham tower. We will stop for a late lunch
en-route and arrive in Nha Trang late afternoon. At leisure. Dinner at
local restaurants. Overnight at hotel in Nhatrang.
Day 6 - Nha
Trang island tour (B;L)
Start from your hotel to Cau Da port.The first point
is Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. Mun Island is the best island for
snorkeling where you can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. Visit a
fishing village and taking a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you
will be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest.
Day 7 - Nha
trang relaxation (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free day for the beach
relaxation. Overnight at hotel in Nhatrang.
Day 8 - Nha
trang – Danang – Hoian (B;L)
We board a flight to Da Nang. The tour of central
Vietnam begins with Cham museum, the famed China
Beach, and the Marble Mountains. Arriving in Hoi An we spend the afternoon to
relax. The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of
Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There
are plenty to see in this delightful and tranquil town, some of which are the famous
Japanese Covered Bridges, the
Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda, and the vibrant
market. You will be able to go shopping in this town, which is also famous for it’s shops in
particular and it’s large number of tailors.
Day 9 -
Hoian – Myson (B)
You drive to visit holly land My Son. It is one of
four World Heritage listed sites in Vietnam. Balance of the day will be at your
leisure to do your endless shopping in Hoi an. Overnight at hotel in Hoi
an.
Day 10 - Hoian – Hue (B;L)
We embark on northern bound journey to Hue. The scenic route passes
through Da Nang as you are climbing over
the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the picturesque fishing villages
of Lang Co. The next point in the afternoon is the Citadel, containing the
Imperial City and the Forbidden Purple city, the Emperor’s private residence.
You will visit vibrant Dong Ba riverside market. Overnight
at hotel in Hue.
Day 11 - Hue
– Hanoi (B;D)
After breakfast at hotel you will embark on a boat
for cruise upstream on the Perfume River which also gives us a
taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit to The beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu.
Disembark the board for a visit the elaborate mausoleum of former emperor Tu Duc,
Emperor Khai Dinh. Transfer to Phu Bai airport for flight to Hanoi. Our guide
in Hanoi will welcome you at Noibai airport , transfer to city center,
check in, relax. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 12 - Hanoi – Night train to Laocai (B;L)
Spending a full day in Hanoi. Our guide will show you the
most beautiful and interesting sights in Hanoi: One Pillar Pagoda; Tran Vu Pagoda; the 11th century Temple of Literature
- the first University of Vietnam. Then you will take a cyclo tour around
the Restored Sword Lake (Hoan Kiem
Lake); Ngoc Son Temple and the 36 streets
of the Hanoi old quarter. If you arrive in time, you will be able to enjoy
water puppet show and elaborate
puppets floating gracefully over water Dinner at local restaurant. Tonight you
will take the night train to Laocai. Overnight on train.
Day 13 -
Laocai – Sapa – Lao chai , Tavan village (B;L;D)
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately
06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is
only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains.
Arrive Sapa and freshen up followed by breakfast at the hotel. You
then embark on a lovely walk that will take us along buffalo
paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan,
home to H’mong, and Dzay people. This is a absolutely spectacular walk through
stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet.
Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village. Overnight
in lovely home stay in Tavan village.
Day 14 -
Sapa – Hanoi night train (B)
After breakfast, you continue your trek through the
stunning landscapes visiting several ethnic villages along the way. Later we
meet up with our support vehicle for the drive back to Sapa and get yourself
ready before heading down to Catcat. Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and beautiful scenery along
the way. Transfer to Lao cai for the night train to Hanoi.
Overnight on train.
Day 15 -
Hanoi – Halong bay on board (B;L;D)
After
3-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City you
transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the
limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay. Boat crew will greet
you special seafood lunch while boat cruising around the bay to visit Dinh
Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, Sung Sot cave and a swim
at Titop beach. Overnight on Junk.
Day 16 -
Halong – Hanoi (B)
This morning you continue to move around the bay to
find out more secluded areas. The junk will be near you all the time. At around
midday you will return to the main harbor and transfer to our awaiting vehicle
for a 3-hour journey back to Hanoi. Free time to relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17 -
Hanoi departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel, free time until transfer
to the airport for your departure flight.
